Thinker is not your conventional note-taking app and doesn't aim to replace that.

What Thinker is and decidedly not want to be

Let me conclude by pointing out what Thinker decidedly is not and does not seek to become. Thinker is not another note-taking application where you organize and build a huge document to a topic of interest. Thus, categorization, lengthy document support, typesetting and a full-fledged editor are features not central to the application. Atomicity, which Thinker encourages, would lead you to have succinct notes, with 2-3 sentences, making a heavyweight form editor an overkill. Also, storing information is not something Thinker wants to do. Instead, Thinker references information. So Thinker works in tandem with existing note-taking app if you choose to do so. It's not an archive. Luhmann states he spent more time using the Zettelkasten than he spent on writing on his books (40+ for that matter). I also expect and know from experience that deep thinking takes time and effort, and Thinker is here to support you in that.
